The resort now features a 13,000-square-foot Tennis Center with 16 grass tennis courts and the eleventh Court Tennis facility in the United States. Position Summary

As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a critical role in supporting Sand Valley's financial operations across multiple areas including general ledger, reconciliations, income audits, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a dynamic hospitality setting, and wants to contribute to a mission-driven team. Your attention to detail, integrity, and collaborative mindset will help ensure financial accuracy and a seamless experience for both our guests and internal teams.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily cash operations including reconciliation of cash drops, POS transactions, change funds, and internal cash banks
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts including guest ledger, deposit ledgers, and gift cards
• Support A / P, A / R, and payroll functions as needed, including invoice processing and vendor coordination
• Administer billing and collection for members and pass-holders
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial statements and variance analyses
• Partner with operations to deliver timely, accurate reports that support informed decision-making
• Maintain well-organized records and ensure compliance with internal financial controls
• Support external audit preparation, internal control documentation, and other ad hoc projects
