  • Position Overview The Equipment Manager will be responsible for the strategic oversight of all equipment utilized within our energy operations.
  • This role encompasses procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle management, ensuring that all assets meet organizational performance, cost, and compliance standards.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership, project managers, and field teams to support the company’s operational objectives.
  • Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for equipment acquisition, deployment, and lifecycle management.
  • Oversee routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure asset reliability and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Track and report on equipment utilization, performance metrics, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all equipment operations.
  • Coordinate with project leadership to align equipment availability with operational schedules and requirements.
  • Direct, mentor, and supervise equipment technicians and supporting staff.
  • Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment or asset management within the energy, oil & gas, or utilities sectors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment operations, maintenance practices, and industry safety standards.
  • Proven leadership experience with demonstrated vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with asset management systems and Microsoft Office Suite   Powered by JazzHR
