We’re looking for a Field Superintendent to join our growing construction team. This role is key to supporting project execution by managing specific areas, trades, or scopes of work—or by serving as Project Superintendent. You’ll ensure jobsite safety, maintain quality standards, coordinate subcontractors, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
As a Field Superintendent, you’ll :
Plan and coordinate construction activities and logistics, overseeing day-to-day jobsite operations.
Communicate with contractors and project team members regarding ASIs, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
Ensure subcontractors fully execute their scopes of work while adhering to safety, health, and environmental standards.
Manage quality control efforts to maintain high standards for materials and installation.
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and special inspectors.
Identify and resolve conflicts related to schedule, design, quality, and safety in a proactive manner.
Maintain detailed daily logs and photo documentation of site activities and conditions.
Develop and update weekly 3-week look-ahead schedules, distributing them to key stakeholders.
Lead daily “Huddle” meetings and weekly coordination meetings to keep teams aligned and productive.
Support project execution and closeout activities as assigned.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
OSHA-30 certification required.
Strong communication and coordination skills with trade partners, team members, and leadership.
Familiarity with scheduling tools such as pull planning, Microsoft Project, and short-term look-ahead schedules.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Basic understanding of construction quality control (CQC) standards and processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
Strong self-awareness and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt and respond effectively to feedback.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, climb, and work on active construction sites for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Comfort working at heights using ladders, scaffolds, or stairs.
Travel
This position requires travel to job sites across the U.S. on a full-time basis, with the ability to be home every other weekend.
