Salary : $18 + DOE

A-Line is looking for a skilled metal sorter to join our team. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, working with various hand tools and heavy equipment to move and sort materials.

What to Expect

  • 1st Shift : Monday - Friday from 7 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm and OT as needed
  • Starting at $18 + depending on experience
  • Growth opportunities available

What Youll Do

  • Sort metals into ferrous and non-ferrous types, including red metals
  • Use chop saws, table cutters, and other hand and power tools to separate materials
  • Operate forklifts to move and distribute metals to the proper locations for processing or recycling
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures
  • Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

    • What Were Looking For

  • Previous experience sorting metals or working in a recycling, scrap, or industrial environment
  • Knowledge of different metal types and metal recycling process.
  • Experience using chop saws, table cutters, and other hand / power tools
  • Forklift experience and ability to safely operate heavy equipment
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Dependable and team-oriented
