Job Title : Quality Inspector

Revision Date : 5 / 16 / 2025
Reports to : Quality Supervisor
Primary Purpose : To assist the quality control department in meeting and exceeding pre-determined requisites and guidelines through established functional programs.
Essential Functions :
- Print labels for specified shifts
- Perform 1st piece approval process
- Provide boundary samples for all production runs
- Verify correct documentation identified per product / work cell
- Perform label verification process - 1 tote per pallet
- Perform in-process part inspection per DIS (verify frequency per specific
- product
- Perform LPA audits as scheduled
- Meet as IATF 16949 requirements for your area; step-by step, packaging,
- quality alerts, and visual aids
- Document detailed summary of shift concerns for the next shift
- Assist with training of new / in-training operators
- Pass color verification (Hue Test). Re-certify at Managements discretion
- Perform tasks with specific measuring devices (i.e. calipers, gages, Macbeth Light etc.)
