Job description Compensation : $22 / hr Shift Time(s) : 9am - 7 : 30pm or 7 : 30am - 6pm What You’ll Do as a Delivery Driver : As a delivery associate, you’ll drive an Amazon-branded van, stay active, work independently, and be part of a motivated team to safely deliver Amazon packages to customers in your community. You can expect to work 4-5 days per week and up to 10 hours per day. Why You’ll Love Working as a Delivery Driver : Independence : spend the majority of your day on the road delivering smiles to customers Team environment : a fun, fast-paced, and supportive company culture Delivery Driver Job Duties Safely operate a cargo van Safely complete 100 - 200 stops each day Drivers must be able to deliver in apartment complexes with multiple levels Keep van neat and clean Use a handheld device for navigation and package scans Communicate professionally and respectfully to team members, managers, and community members Additional duties as assigned Delivery Driver Equipment Provided Delivery Vehicle & Gas Handheld technology Uniforms Other safety and administrative gear necessary for job accomplishment Job requirements As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need : Must be at least 21 years old Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted Class E driver’s license Authorized to work in the United States Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana) Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position) Must be able to lift boxes up to 75 lbs.
