Job Description
This role combines technical proficiency in system administration with leadership and managerial skills, ensuring the reliable, efficient, and secure operation of all servers, networks, and computer systems. The position involves guiding IT projects, fostering department growth, and serving as the local team's primary mentor.
Essential duties and responsibilities include :
- Managing the development of a solid and comprehensive enterprise technology infrastructure
- Maintaining an efficient and effective operation environment and delivering high-quality and timely services
- Consulting with management to analyze IT systems needs and determine scope and priorities of projects
- Recommending and developing plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing
- Aligning business operations to utilize information technologies, yielding improved processes and efficiencies
- Managing the development, implementation, installation, and operation of IT
- Ensuring day-to-day operation of the information infrastructures and business applications
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring management information systems policies and control to ensure data accuracy, security, strong internal control, and legal compliance
Requirements
Required competencies include :
Bachelor's degree and five to seven years of related experienceVendor management to maintain key IT partner relationshipsAbility to manage and administer Network Architecture, Network security concepts, and firewall, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Server, and Desktop VirtualizationParticipating in maintenance of Disaster / Recovery PlanDatabase administration experience with Microsoft SQLDemonstrated knowledge in managing routers, network switches, understanding VLANs, VPN tunneling, and MPLS networks and telephony systemsSafran is an equal opportunities employer.
