The firm has represented and worked alongside a wide variety of local, State, and Federal agencies, including U.S. EPA, State Water Resources Control Boards, Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Department of Toxic Substances Control, Department of Fish and Wildlife, Air Resources Board, U.S. Department of Justice, and the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General.

The Environmental Attorney is responsible for providing clients with legal advice, guidance, and representation, keeping in mind the client’s best interests. Responsibilities will include all areas of matter management, analysis, strategy, and preparation including, but not limited to :
Meeting with clients and keeping them updated on matter developmentsIdentifying clients’ objectives and using strategic and creative thinking to make appropriate recommendations to achieve those goalsCaring about our clients and how difficult legal situations impact their lives and businessesBeing diligent in obtaining necessary information from clients, agencies, opposing parties, and othersDemonstrating exceptional legal research and clear, persuasive, writingExplaining complex, nuanced, legal concepts and technical information into clear and concise languageUnderstanding how to assimilate technical and scientific data and reports into legal analysisBeing able to work on a matter from beginning to endThe Environmental Attorney will also be responsible for creating matter strategies, case management, setting and meeting deadlines, contributing to a productive and positive work environment, and assisting with business development.The office is located within walking distance of hiking trails, restaurants, shopping, gyms, yoga studios, medical offices, a library, and other amenities. Located in Rancho Palos Verdes, part of the award-winning Palos Verdes Peninsula School District, employees are eligible to enroll students in the District. Office located within minutes of excellent elementary, middle, and high schools.
Possible expansion to a satellite office in the Hollywood vicinity of Los Angeles, CA.
