Neurosciences Nursing Position\n\n

This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM, every other weekend.

\n\nJob Description\n

Join our dedicated team on the 6 West Neurosciences unit, where you will provide specialized care for our patients. The unit features 36 beds and is equipped with standard Med Surge equipment, utilizing Cerner as the EMR.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Perform patient care procedures, including Foley insertion and IV start.

    • \n

  • Maintain patient ratios of 5 : 1 on day shifts and 6 : 1 on night shifts, occasionally stretching to 7 : 1.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • ACLS and NIH certifications are required.

    • \n

  • Neuro experience is preferred.

    • \n

  • Must be outgoing and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
