Position Summary

The IS Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation and supporting data center solutions that take into account appropriate redundancy, availability, scalability, security and manageability requirements of Lakeland Regional Health's IS Department. This individual will be part of a team that is responsible for the technical strategy, vision, architecture and evolution of the LRH technical infrastructure and associated technologies. This role will be responsible for the architecture and implementation of server, virtualization and storage platforms required to support Lakeland Regional's patient, guest and employee population. He / she must have the experience and technical competence to design data center infrastructure and standards and follow through with their implementations and operational hand over. This individual will work collaboratively with other groups to lead sustaining engineering activities such as design, upgrades, maintenance, enhancements, and expansions as well as provide last-level support of escalated technical issues and mentorship to junior IS associates.
