Job Description

We are currently seeking a Traveling Lead Foreman to oversee and execute heavy commercial electrical projects across various industrial sites. While the work environments are industrial, the project scopes are often straightforward yet time-sensitive. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives under pressure, works collaboratively with a team, and takes initiative to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a crew of at least 4 (typically 2 licensed electricians and 2 apprentices) on each job site.
  • Oversee project timelines, labor, and site coordination to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics.
  • Perform and supervise electrical work including :
  • Conduit and wiring installations
  • Generator and UPS system installations
  • Low- and medium-voltage systems
  • Maintain consistent communication with project managers and office staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and project specifications.
  • Provide professional, clear verbal and written communication on project updates.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience leading large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in the field.
  • Willing and able to work up to 60 hours per week.
  • Comfortable with extensive travel; this is a travel-dependent position .
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams with minimal supervision.
  • Highly accountable, reliable, and professional in all aspects of the job.
  • Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician License (Required).
  • Minimum 5 years of field experience in electrical construction.
  • Previous leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical codes, installation practices, and jobsite safety.
  • Proficiency in blueprint and schematic reading.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • $35 $45 per hour (based on experience)
