What You Need To Know About The Job

The Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) group supports nearly all lines of business. The Enterprise Data Governance group is expanding its focus on responsible AI governance. This role leads initiatives that promote responsible, ethical, and effective use of artificial intelligence across the American Red Cross. It combines educational outreach with governance to ensure AI tools are used in alignment with organizational values, policies, and ethical use of AI.

Scope : Individual contributor role with limited supervision, applying subject matter expertise in AI content creation and understanding of Data and AI Governance.

Responsibilities

• AI Literacy Development : partner with the head of data and AI governance to develop an enterprise AI literacy framework; create content and design processes for new and existing courses; design engaging, accessible learning experiences for diverse audiences; deliver training programs, webinars, workshops, and resources to improve AI understanding; translate complex AI concepts for non-technical audiences; develop persona-based AI literacy curriculum; evaluate and update educational content to reflect latest AI policies and ethical use, tools, and risks; evaluate learning outcomes using surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
• AI Stewardship & Governance : serve as liaison between technical teams, legal / compliance, and business units to ensure responsible AI deployment; monitor AI systems for ethical risks, bias, transparency, and accountability; support development and enforcement of AI governance frameworks, policies, and best practices; champion a culture of ethical AI use and continuous learning.

Requirements

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range : $84,000 – $94,000 annually. No annual bonus for this role. Salaries are aligned to geographic location and may reflect skills, experience, and market comparisons. Specific salary information will be reviewed at the time of phone screening based on location and experience.
