Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses.
Collaborate with practice leaders to review and interpret financial results.
Support annual financial and regulatory audits.
Assist in consolidating multi-entity financial data and maintaining GAAP compliance.
Help develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Contribute to treasury, cash management, accounts payable, and payroll processes.
Participate in ERP and system improvement initiatives (NetSuite experience a plus).
Qualifications of the Senior Accountant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
3-4+ years of progressive accounting experience; healthcare or multi-entity experience preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP, monthly close processes, accruals, and reconciliations.
Proficiency in Excel; ERP system experience required (NetSuite preferred).
Ambition to grow and take on additional responsibilities as the organization scales.
