Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is actively hiring Caregivers, Home Health Aides, CNAs, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with disabilities in achieving their personal goals and living fulfilling lives.

As a caregiver, you'll play a vital role in fostering positive self-esteem and independence-both at home and in the community-through compassionate support, encouragement, and respectful, person-centered care.

New Enhanced Pay $18.20-$20.20 / hr.+ based on experience and shift differentials!

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Shifts Available :

Evening Shift Available : 3 PM to 11 PM (times can fluctuate) - Must have a valid NYS driver's license for this shift

Mozaic, a not-for-profit organization based in the Finger Lakes Region, specializes in providing services and residential facilities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a prominent advocate for supporting and improving the lives of over 2,000 individuals with disabilities in our area.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Duties :

These residential caregivers support individuals in maintaining safe and healthy lifestyles within the home and community by assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, and household upkeep. You will also responsible for providing transportation to events and appointments to help individuals with their daily goals. They adhere to care plans, medication guidelines, and protocols, working closely with families, healthcare providers, and case managers to promote the overall well-being and quality of life of individuals with disabilities. In addition, they offer emotional support, encouragement, and advocacy to ensure residents' rights and needs are respected.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Qualifications :

  • Experience with Developmental Disabilities is valued
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Valid NYS Driver's License
  • Experience as a CNA, Health Aide, Caregiver, or DSP is a plus
