Position Overview

The Maintenance Account Manager ensures an exceptional client experience by managing ongoing service contracts, identifying enhancement opportunities, and serving as the main point of contact between clients and field crews. This role requires proactive communication, field inspections, and collaboration with operations and production teams. Ideal candidates will have landscape maintenance knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and a client-first

mindset grounded in trust and results.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of landscape maintenance clients
  • Conduct regular site walks and communicate proactively with clients on services, issues, and

opportunities

  • Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally
  • Develop long-term relationships that lead to retention and referrals
  • Quality Assurance & Site Oversight

  • Perform scheduled property inspections to ensure contract fulfillment and visual quality
  • Provide real-time feedback to crew leaders and maintenance superintendents
  • Identify potential service deficiencies or property needs and initiate improvements
  • Take and maintain photo documentation for job records
  • Enhancement Sales & Upselling

  • Identify and propose enhancement opportunities (plant replacements, seasonal color, turf
  • renovation, lighting, etc.)

  • Collaborate with enhancement and estimating teams to build accurate proposals
  • Present proposals and secure client approval
  • Follow through on sold work to ensure timely, high-quality execution
  • Collaboration & Scheduling

  • Partner with field operations teams to communicate client priorities and deadlines
  • Ensure crews understand scope of work and special instructions
  • Participate in daily or weekly production meetings
  • Help balance route loads and crew assignments during seasonal peaks Administration & Reporting
  • Manage service agreements, contract renewals, and add-on work proposals
  • Track client communication, property issues, and enhancement opportunities in CRM or
  • scheduling software

  • Contribute to monthly portfolio reports or KPI tracking
  • Qualifications

    Required :

  • 2+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, account management, or property
  • management

  • Proven client service skills with a professional, positive attitude
  • Knowledge of turf, plant material, pruning, and seasonal maintenance practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using technology for CRM, routing, or scheduling
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to walk properties and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Preferred :

  • Experience with commercial maintenance accounts
  • Sales experience (upselling, enhancements, or service renewals)
  • Landscape industry certifications (e.g., CLT, CLP, QWEL)
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
