What we are looking for :

We are looking for a motivated and talented Staff Geologist to join our firm in our Oakland, California office. You will be collaborating with colleagues from across our organization to provide environmental solutions to our clients’ environmental challenges.

You should be a self-starter and possess strong technical and writing skills to support a wide range of environmental projects. Our ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented, have excellent verbal communication skills, and a positive attitude.

This is a salaried, exempt position. Farallon provides full-stack environmental consulting services to a wide range of private and public-sector clients specializing in environmental due diligence, site characterization, engineering / remediation design services, natural resources and permitting, and mediation / litigation support.

Pay Range

Our best estimate of the base salary range for this position, located in Oakland, California area is $85,000 – $95,000. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Farallon reviews and updates salary ranges annually, and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Farallon’s total compensation package for our employee-owners.
