Competitive Pay : Hourly Positions :
- Florida : $13 - $18 per hour (rate varies by location, position, and experience)
- Other Southeastern Markets : $10 - $16 per hour (rate varies by state, location, position, and experience)

General Purpose

Essential Duties (may include, but not limited to)
Follow the prep listPrepare a variety of food according to production guidelines, standardized recipes, prep & portion proceduresProperly utilizes weight scale for accurate portion weightsMemorize and apply all Sonny's-specialized BOH terminology, plating, menu items, procedures, utensils, abbreviations, and methodologiesAbility to navigate around equipmentMaintain portion & waste control using system standardsSafely utilizes a variety of kitchen utensils including sharp knivesProperly stores & labels food by adhering to food safety policies & guidelinesFollow proper cooling, labeling, and rotating procedures of all prepped itemsMaintains clean & sanitized work areas, equipment, & utensilsAccurately checks levels of food items, restocks when appropriateAdhere to healthy & food safety sanitary guidelinesPerform cleaning duties throughout and at the end of the shiftAbility to perform other duties as assignedQualification Requirements
Able to work independently or as part of a teamAble to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyCan be calm under pressureTime management skillsAble to account for and process cash and credit transactionsMust be dependable and can maintain a flexible scheduleAttend and successfully complete any ongoing training or certification programs required by the company, federally, or by the state as it relates to this position.Required Skills and Experience
Related experience and / or training in the restaurant industry.Strong interpersonal skills.Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skillsConstant ability to push, pull, lift, carry and or move up to 90 pounds.Team Members will be exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, and are required to work with cleaning chemicals. Frequent washing of the hands is required for all positions.Education Requirements
