Schedule / Hours : Monday-Friday (25-29 hours)

Pay : $15.00-$15.25 per hour

This position is responsible for :

The Truck Driver & Warehouse Worker is responsible for safely operating Salvation Army trucks to pick up donations, deliver merchandise, and dispose of unusable items, while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and organizational standards. This role includes lifting, loading, unloading, and organizing donated goods, operating warehouse equipment such as balers and forklifts, and maintaining the cleanliness and security of the warehouse. The individual also assists with special projects, donation drives, and customer interactions, ensuring accountability, efficiency, and professional representation of The Salvation Army at all times.

Key Responsibilities :

• Drive Salvation Army trucks to pick up donations and deliver merchandise.
• Load, unload, and secure donated items such as furniture and clothing.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe; operated balers and forklifts.
• Interacted professionally with donors, customers, and the public.
• Assist with donation drives, special projects, and other assigned tasks.
