  • Implements emergency management training program to ensure compliance
  • Facilitates training and orientation sessions on emergency management topics
  • Provides continuing education opportunities
  • Coordinates NIMS-level training and other appropriate emergency management training to response organizations and departments including Emergency Operations Center personnel
  • Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public administration, business administration, or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Four years of experience in emergency management or emergency response related field. Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public administration, business administration, or related field
  • More than four years of experience in emergency management
  • Experience in higher education emergency management. Completed FEMA instructor training courses
  • This position is security sensitive
  • This position requires compliance with state and federal laws / codes and Texas A&M University System / TAMU policies, regulations, rules and procedures
