Full Time Van Driver - Will train

Route assignment 4-6 hours

Starting Pay : $22.52 / hour

Qualifications :

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have the physical capability to perform daily pre-trip inspections and wear a seat belt
• Physically qualified as determined by an annual physical examination meeting Ohio Department of Education, Form T-8 criteria
• Complete pre-service and in-service training as per Ohio Administrative Code Rule 3301-83-10
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Ability to cope with stressful situations involving students, including those with disabilities
• Possess or upgrade skills through relevant training related to transporting students with disabilities
• Good driving record and work history verified through references and background checks
• Understanding of pupil transportation's role in education and compliance with laws and policies
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and other required tests

Reports To :

Transportation Coordinator

Supervises : Students on the bus

Position Goal :

Provide safe and efficient transportation for students

Evaluation :

Performance reviewed annually by the Transportation Coordinator, with evaluations every three years or as needed
