A dynamic national electrical contracting firm is seeking a motivated Quality Program Manager to lead and enhance QA / QC efforts across commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. This is a high‑impact opportunity to partner with district leadership and field teams, influence best‑in‑class quality processes, and elevate project delivery standards throughout multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities :
Spearhead a comprehensive quality assurance and control initiative spanning diverse locations, driving excellence in commercial and industrial electrical projects to surpass both client expectations and internal benchmarks, while guaranteeing unwavering adherence to rigorous standards.Develop and implement project‑specific quality plans, including inspections, checklists, documentation, and close‑out deliverables.Collaborate closely with project managers and field leadership to identify and drive process improvements and root‑cause corrective actions.Lead, mentor, and guide QA / QC field resources and ensure they have clear direction and accountability.Review and interpret electrical drawings, one‑line diagrams, schematics and ensure installations align with design intent and project specifications.Maintain comprehensive QA / QC documentation, audits, and reports; support client audits and internal reviews.Champion safety, ethical execution, and adherence to company and regulatory standards in all quality interactions.Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of journeyman‑level electrical experience (e.g., journeyman lineman or wireman) in the electrical construction industry.Demonstrated track record of success in leading formal quality assurance and quality control capacities on expansive electrical construction endeavors, showcasing expertise honed through significant involvement in high-stakes projects.Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, one‑line diagrams, wiring schematics, and construction drawings.Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience generating detailed reports and managing documentation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to lead field teams and work collaboratively with leadership.Preferred Backgrounds :
Prior experience with a major electrical contractor or engineering‑construction firm in a dedicated QA / QC capacity.Familiarity with lean construction or process improvement methodologies is a plus.Formal safety / OSHA training or certification preferred.What’s in it for you :
