Responsibilities Position is in a busy inpatient and emergency department CT unit with four scan rooms Handles all age groups and acuity levels, from ambulatory to critically ill patients Performs routine CT exams, including abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and CT angiograms Average of approximately 200 exams performed daily Uses Siemens CT scanners, EPIC EMR, and Visage PACS system Night schedule : 12-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday, 18 : 00–06 : 30 Contracts available for 13 to 20 weeks No call or float requirements Must be able to perform all routine and high-acuity CT procedures across various patient populations Royal blue scrubs required Holiday coverage is required for at least two of the three major holidays, regardless of assigned weekend shift Unit orientation and schedule may be subject to change based on supervisor discretion Travelers must be fully available for variable orientation schedules and cannot miss any portion Requests for time off after booking will not be considered Team participates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment within a large emergency department Unit will accept local candidates Requirements Minimum 5 years of recent CT Technologist experience, with inpatient, ER, and adult ICU exposure Prior travel experience as a CT Tech is required; first-time travelers will not be considered BLS and ARRT certifications required, including a CT-specific registration (if ARRT certified) Proficient in IV starts, contrast administration, PACS usage, and Siemens equipment Must bring a personal dosimeter (any brand accepted; Landauer brand in use on unit) Experience with Epic and Visage PACS required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-613682.
