As a Material Handler you will :

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts
  • Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process
  • Select, pack and palletize shipments
  • Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts
  • Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections

Requirements :

  • Ability to perform physical requirements in a warehouse environment including lifting up to 70 lbs., cutting wire, climbing ladders and staying on the move in various temperatures depending on the location
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE
  • Good attendance and work ethic
  • Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately
  • Minimum 18 years of age required

    • As a Delivery Driver you will :

  • Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations
  • Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service
  • Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Inspect vehicle and supplies
  • Safely operate vehicle at all times
  • Maintain proper truck logs
  • Work a local route - no overnights or weekends away

    • Requirements :

  • Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE
  • Experience required driving a van or truck equal or below 26,000 GVW
  • Must have a valid driver's license issued by his / her state of residence appropriate for type of vehicle
  • Must be able to pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification
  • Minimum 21 years of age required

    • Work Shift and Hours :

  • Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
  • Monday - Friday; 3 : 30 am - 12 : 30 pm or 9 : 00 am - 6 : 00 pm (Material Handlers); Monday - Friday; 5 : 00 am - 1 : 00 pm (Delivery Drivers)
  • Predictable work schedule to plan your life around : no weekends or nights for most roles.

    • Compensation Details :

  • The expected pay rate for Material Handlers is starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • The expected pay rate for Delivery Drivers is starting at $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

    • Additional Information :

  • Steel toed boots required.
