POSITION OVERVIEW :
The Field Engineering Aide / Permit Officer performs routine and responsible paraprofessional work in the provision of engineering services in the City, as well as other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED :
Works under the general direction of the DPW Commissioner, City Engineer and close supervision of the Assistant City Engineers.

HOURS OF WORK : Full-time (35 hours / week) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM; Wednesday 8 : 30 AM – 7 : 30 PM; Friday 8 : 30 AM – 12 : 30 PM. Some evening meetings and some fieldwork outside normal hours as needed.
SALARY : Non-Union NPW 13 ($1,160.96 – $1,349.38 / week)
