Accountabilities

The Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer will :

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Pub / Sub, and Dataflow.
• Automate deployment and configuration using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes.
• Develop and optimize Looker dashboards, queries, and derived tables to ensure performance and reliability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data lake operations and cloud resources.
• Build efficient data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable data products.
• Write complex SQL queries and implement robust ETL processes for large datasets.
• Senior-level team members additionally : assess technical risks and opportunities, optimize complex SQL and ETL workflows, enhance data lake operations, and guide best practices for team processes and documentation.
