The Opportunity :
UCF's Department of Psychology seeks applications for a part-time Laboratory Assistant I (TEMP). This opportunity is to assist with research lab coordination and project management through the Work Stress in Context Lab, supervised by Dr. Mindy Shoss.
Responsibilities :
Track project developments and progress
Update lab project management
Send out lab emails at the request of the lab director
Develop systems and procedures for lab documentation and reporting
Assist with lab quality control procedures
Prepare tables, graphs, fact sheets, and written reports
Assist with development of the lab website and social media accounts
Coordinate meetings and lab events
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6) .
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree.
Experience in laboratory support or management activities.
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Forms, and Qualtrics.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Conscientious, responsive to emails, and works well in a collaborative manner with others.
Past research experience and interest in the research process.
