As an Employee Relations Business Partner in the Advice & Counsel Center, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment by providing expert guidance on employee relations matters.
You will be responsible for handling employee concerns, addressing workplace conflicts, and implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
You will work closely with various departments and assigned internal client groups to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, mitigate risks, and support Emory's mission and goals.
Act as a primary point of contact for employees seeking guidance on workplace issues, disputes, or conflicts
Collaborate with HR leadership and legal teams to develop and update company policies and procedures related to employee relations
Mediate conflicts between employees, managers, and teams to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Assist in the performance management process, including coaching managers on effective performance conversations, conducting investigations related to performance issues, and recommending appropriate actions
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
Stay current with employment laws and regulations, ensuring Emory policies and practices are in compliance
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients and act as a trusted advisor on HR and compliance matters
