Paid company holidays. Design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded electronics including hardware and firmware. Use laboratory equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, and data acquisition systems. Create test plans for electronic components and assemblies. Apply a manufacturing mindset to designs to ensure efficient production. Provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests. Collaborate with engineering team on various existing and new product design projects. Knowledgeable in electrical engineering (possessing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, plus 0-2 years of experience in a similar role) . Understanding of embedded systems, PCBA manufacturing, and power electronics. Familiarity with schematic capture, PCBA layout software, and circuit simulation tools. Working knowledge of C&C++ programming. Experience with integration of mechanical systems (mechatronics) Comfortable using tools for testing and prototype fabrication. Detail-oriented and consistent. A team player and able to effectively operate in group environment. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Problem solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Goal-oriented and able to manage time and meet specific deadlines. Able to work with hand tools, including drills, saws, and grinders on occasion. Able to regularly perform the following physical requirements, with or without accommodations : Frequently : Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components. Frequently : Prolonged periods of standing and moving about in factory environment Frequently : Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. Frequently : Must be able to crouch, bend, and lean to inspect equipment Occasionally : Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
