Position Overview
We are seeking qualified Home-Based Caseworkers to serve children and families referred by the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS). Caseworkers provide strength-based services directly in clients homes and communities, ensuring safety, stability, and empowerment.
This is a 1099 subcontractor role not a W-2 position and ideal for experienced, compassionate professionals who value autonomy, strong support, and meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities
Provide home-based casework, including safety planning, family preservation, reunification services, and visitation facilitationCollaborate with families, DCS, schools, and service providersAttend and document family team meetings, court hearings, and school conferences as neededComplete reports and documentation accurately and on time using designated systemsMaintain appropriate boundaries and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and professionalismQualifications
Bachelors degree (or higher) in social work, psychology, or a related human services fieldAt least 1 year of experience in child welfare, case management, or family services preferredReliable transportation, valid drivers license, and auto insuranceAbility to pass criminal, BMV background checks, including FBI fingerprinting, CPS, and state backgroundStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with excellent time management and documentation skillsSelf-motivated and comfortable working independentlyBonus Points If You Have :
