Investment Operations Associate – Cash Ops– Job Description
Location : Naperville, IL (Hybrid : In-office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Remote Tuesday, Friday)
No relocation assistance provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities –
- Steward of compliance, coordinates with company staff to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations and reports.
- Initiate transfers of funds via either wire transfer or ACH, including foreign currency transactions. Approve transfers for designated funds.
- Initiate wires and confirm receipt of funds for CD activity.
- Read incoming emails and other materials to determine the appropriate action (e.g. paper wire transfers, updated wire or ach instructions, etc.).
- Receive and add planned and unplanned wires to PMA systems; Update systems so advisors know whether to follow up with clients; notify other departments of receipt.
- Conduct Daily balancing responsibilities for assigned funds at start of day and end of day.
- Input new repetitive funds transfer instructions for both banks and clients into the PMA and / or bank systems.
- Promptly answer questions about records or files and or investigate and correct errors upon request of supervisor and / or client. Correct errors as directed.
- Assist in the review and improvement of processes and procedures.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

The position is hands on, fast paced, detail and deadline oriented.The position requires good judgment, strong attention to detail, and accuracy.Organizational skills and management of priorities are necessary to succeed in this position.Minimum Requirements :

Education / Knowledge :
Banking background preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of financial markets and mutual fund industry beneficial
