Job Description

Duration : 6 months

Location : Sacramento, CA

Pay Range : $30.00-$60.00 (hourly W2)

Qualifications :

This position will NOT convert. Position duration is anticipated as 6 months.

Here's what you'll need

  • At least 3 years of experience as a structural inspector or related position
  • Experience inspecting bridge construction, specifically monitoring rebar placement, concrete pours, post-tensioning operations, and grouting procedures if preferred
  • Strong technical skills in concrete bridge construction
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work with others
  • Desire to grow personally as well as professionally
  • Self-motivated professional

Ideally, you'll also have :

  • Knowledge of Caltrans construction inspection manuals, procedures, and practices
  • Demonstrated experience inspecting at least one concrete box girder bridge constructed by CIP or precast balanced cantilever construction in the last 15 years

    • Responsibilities :

  • The primary responsibility will be bridge construction inspection for a CIP box girder bridge constructed by cantilever construction.
  • This exciting Field Inspection Technician opportunity, will be based near our Sacramento, CA office at a project site with breathtaking views.
  • You will be leading the bridge inspection efforts and helping to train other inspection and engineering staff for this project.
