While not an oncology unit, nurses will manage a broad range of medical-surgical and telemetry cases, including cardiac monitoring, respiratory support, IV therapy, and central line management . The unit fosters collaboration among a supportive interdisciplinary team and provides opportunities for floating within the nurse’s scope of practice.
