APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Bay City looking to add a CNC Programmer to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to develop and optimize CNC programs using MasterCAM software to support efficient, accurate machining operations. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like :

Program and optimize CNC machining operations using MasterCAM (2018 or newer)

Create and verify geometry, toolpaths, and simulations for efficient machining

Design work holding and tooling setups to ensure accuracy and safety

Develop and document machining processes and best practices

Collaborate with production teams to ensure programs meet quality and delivery goals

What we are looking for :

Proficiency with MasterCAM software (2018-current)

Experience with toolpath creation, simulation, and post-processing

Background in workholding, tool design, and machining process documentation

Minimum 2 years of experience in a CNC programming role

Technical degree or programming certifications preferred; experience with large-format parts a plus
