Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Yuma, AZ 85364 (Arizona travel nursing jobs)

Facility Setting : Acute Care – Med / Surg Telemetry (2 West)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025, End : 3 / 9 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45pm – 7 : 15am)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : Typically 2 out of 3 holidays

Charting System : EPIC EMR

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,990 - $2,130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or compact state)

BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry

Recent experience in a Trauma Level I or II hospital setting

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)

Ability to comply with 100-mile radius rule for travel nurses

Willingness to float to MedSurg, stable low acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU as needed

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients with medical diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, acute kidney injury (AKI), and post-surgical conditions

Manage nurse-patient ratios of 1 : 6 during night shifts

Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care technicians, and monitor techs to ensure optimal clinical outcomes

Operate respiratory therapy equipment, including Bipap and stable tracheostomy care

Accurately document patient care and progress using EPIC EMR

Participate in department-specific orientation and ongoing nursing education

Adhere to scheduling guidelines, including weekend and holiday rotations

Promote a safe, positive environment for patients and healthcare staff
