Pay based on experience : Entry Level Technicians start at $16 / hr; experienced or Master Techs can earn $100,000+.
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose vehicles
- Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
- Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
- Plan work with shop foreman
- Provide labor estimates
- Monitor repair times and update service advisor
- Follow dealership policies on vehicle care
- Complete documentation for repairs
- Mentor technician trainees
- Attend training sessions
- Stay current with factory bulletins
- Follow all safety and environmental regulations
