Requirements :

  • Active GA License
  • BC
  • Must be fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the rank Clinical instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor

    • Responsibilities :

  • Examine patients and run tests to identify heart and lung issues.
  • Create surgical plans and discuss them with patients, explaining risks and benefits.
  • Conduct heart and lung surgeries, like bypasses and valve replacements.
  • Use advanced techniques and tools to ensure safety and precision.
  • Oversee recovery, monitor for complications, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Work with a team to manage patient care after surgery.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to monitor recovery.
  • Adjust treatments based on patient progress.
  • Work with cardiologists, pulmonologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care. Community info The city is a short drive to a downtown International Airport in Georgia.
