Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices including switches, routers, access points, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and availability.
  • Provide Tier 1–2 support for network-related helpdesk tickets, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and connectivity issues.
  • Participate in troubleshooting outages, latency issues, and performance bottlenecks under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support setup and teardown of temporary event networks, ensuring reliable guest Wi-Fi and vendor access.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network topology and configurations.
  • Assist with implementing security policies, patches, and updates across the network.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure and IT Operations teams to ensure systems remain secure and compliant.
  • Stay current with emerging networking technologies and pursue certifications to advance technical knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 0–2 years of professional IT / networking experience (internships, labs, or academic projects accepted).
  • Basic understanding of TCP / IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless.
  • Familiarity with enterprise network equipment (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto).
  • Coursework or certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn from a senior team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
