Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish)
First Shift
Responsibilities
Schedule patients for office / clinic visits.
Prepare rooms with required materials for visits.
Room patients and assist with their needs.
Work alongside one provider with an additional Medical Assistant.
Take vitals, weight, height, blood pressure, and medical history.
Collaborate with patients' families or caregivers for information collection.
Enter all data into the EMR system.
Schedule follow-ups as needed.
Occasionally float to another location if short-staffed, with prior notification.
Be flexible with hours, staying later if necessary to assist providers.
Essential Skills
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Proficiency in medical assisting and immediate care.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to give reports and debrief to medical professionals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification required.
Externship or work experience in immediate care or urgent care.
Entry-level Medical Assistants right out of schooling / certification will be considered.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00 / hr.
