• Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing and grooming

Implement care plans tailored to each resident's specific needs

Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity

Ensure residents' rights are respected and upheld at all times

Prepare meals and snacks for residents according to dietary guidelines

Foster a safe and nurturing environment for residents

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care

Requirements

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder preferred

Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures

Familiarity with nursing home or hospice care settings is a plus

Ability to cook and prepare meals for residents

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

High school diploma or equivalent required

Job Type : Part-time

Pay : $18.00 per hour

Expected hours : 15 – 20 per week
