We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing and groomingImplement care plans tailored to each resident's specific needsSupport residents in maintaining their independence and dignityEnsure residents' rights are respected and upheld at all timesPrepare meals and snacks for residents according to dietary guidelinesFoster a safe and nurturing environment for residentsCollaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate resident careRequirementsExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder preferredKnowledge of patient care practices and proceduresFamiliarity with nursing home or hospice care settings is a plusAbility to cook and prepare meals for residentsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredJob Type : Part-time
Pay : $18.00 per hour
Expected hours : 15 – 20 per week
