Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an evening shift MRI Technologist with ARRT(MR) or ARRT(R) certification and Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a hospital MRI department
  • Evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM
  • 5 x 8-hour shifts per week with call rotation including holidays
  • Patient population and case types typical for hospital MRI services
  • Epic EMR is used and experience with Epic is preferred
  • Role involves performing MRI exams per hospital protocols and safety standards
  • Modules must be completed during orientation, averaging 3-4 hours
  • Return staff must have a minimum of 1 year gap before returning as a traveler
  • Local candidates accepted at a lower rate and must live at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Travel pairs are accepted

    • Requirements

  • Current ARRT(MR) or ARRT(R) certification required
  • AMRIT certification required
  • Wisconsin or compact state license required in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable
  • Prior hospital MRI technologist experience required; first time travelers considered only with multiple level 1 or 2 trauma facility employment
  • Ability to participate in call rotation including holidays
  • No latex allergy accommodations available
