Job Title : Allergy Mixer

Department : Allergy

Reports To : Allergy Lead / Office Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Mix all of the allergy immunotherapy serum for all allergy patients.
• Mix testing trays according to expiration dates.
• Maintain allergy inventory needed for the mix room.
• Pass the annual practical Mixing Test.
• Maintain and practice sterilization protocols for compounding accordantly to regulations.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This position is a full time position and requires you to be available Monday – Friday 8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm.
