CONTRACT : Estimated 1-year contract position to begin with the possibility of an extension or conversion to permanent full-time direct with our client.

PAY RATE : $60.00 to $71.55 per hour on a W-2 through our company. You choose the rate per hour that you want to request from this range.

Shift working four 10-hour days typically with every Friday off (4 / 10 Work Schedule)

Work will be 100% onsite Job description :

Looking for real-time C / C++ embedded software engineer with at least 5+ years of experience related to Linux / Real-time operating system running on multi-core processors.

Candidate must have ability to obtain Secret.

Candidate will work onsite full time at Orlando, Florida; 4 / 10 1st shift.

Required Experience :

  • 5+ years of C / C++ embedded real-time object-oriented development with object-oriented development experience using Linux on multi-core processors
  • 5+ years of hands-on software / firmware / hardware development and integration experience
  • 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) using Git-lab and Bit-bucket.

Desired Skills :

  • Working knowledge of C++ design patterns for embedded software development
  • Working knowledge of Yocto operating system
  • Familiarity with Data Distribution System (DDS) middle-ware programming experience a plus
  • Familiarity with containerized development and deployment
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps processes and tools (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing)

    • Security Clearance : Ability to Obtain

    Security Clearance Comments :

    Candidate must have ability to obtain / qualify for a Secret.
