Job Summary : The Resident Care Aide (RCA) plays a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of residents in our facility. As an RCA, you will provide direct personal care and assistance to residents, supporting their daily activities and promoting independence. You will work closely with nursing staff, residents, and their families to deliver compassionate care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities : - Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.- Support mobility and transfer of residents, ensuring their safety and comfort.- Monitor and document residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to nursing staff.- Facilitate social activities and engage residents in recreational programs.- Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents.- Assist with medication management under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere.- Adhere to facility policies, health and safety regulations, and best practices in caregiving.- Participate in staff training and ongoing education to enhance caregiving skills.

Qualifications : - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program is preferred.- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare setting is a plus.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.- Current CPR / First Aid / AED certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements : - Ability to lift, transfer, and support residents as needed.- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods.- Must be able to perform tasks that require physical strength and endurance.
