job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssist the dentist during procedures, performing chairside support and anticipating needs. Perform expanded functions including placing fillings, taking impressions, and applying sealants and fluoride. Take and process dental x-rays while maintaining proper infection control and sterilization protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide clear post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and documentation in the dental software system. Manage operatory setup, instrument sterilization, and inventory of dental materials and supplies. Completion of a state-approved dental assistant program and valid EFDA certification / license per Oregon regulations. Current Radiology / X-ray and CPR / BLS certifications. 13 years of hands-on clinical dental assisting experience Proficiency in dental terminology, materials, instruments, and familiarity with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix).

LOCATION : Portland, OR
SALARY : $25 - $30 / hr.
SCHEDULE : Full-time, Mon-Fri | Mon, Thurs : 8 am-5 pm | Tues, Wed : 7 am-4 pm | Fri : 8 am-4 pm
