Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and skilled Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in the daily operations of our clinic, providing essential support to our physicians and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our patients. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, taking and documenting vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Prepare patients for examination and assist physicians during procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for laboratory testing.
• Administer injections and immunizations as directed by a physician.
• Perform basic in-office laboratory tests (e.g., urinalysis, strep screens).
• Sterilize and prepare medical instruments and equipment.
• Assist with medical records management, including charting and documenting patient information accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Handle prescription refill requests as authorized by the physician.
• Process and manage patient referrals to specialists.
• Maintain an organized and clean clinic environment.
