Job Description

As a Security Officer - Cleared Front Desk in Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in providing a welcoming presence and supporting security-related operations at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will greet visitors, verify credentials, and maintain detailed access logs, all while delivering outstanding customer service. Your attention to detail and commitment to Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first will help to deter security-related incidents and create a positive experience for everyone entering the facility.

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management processes.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or external contacts to address inquiries and provide assistance.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A security-related guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
