Hospitalist Physician

Job Title : Physician - OB Hospitalist

The practice is located at a 387-bed tertiary acute care hospital that serves as the only Level I Trauma Center in the Coachella Valley, covering over 8,000 square miles of Southeastern California. Job Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care including delivery attendance, OB triage, and patient evaluation / management.
• Perform surgical assists and fetal monitoring across various in-house shifts.
• Ensure 24 / 7 coverage with two OB Hospitalists on duty together, never alone on shift.
• Engage in high-risk patient care with consults from maternal-fetal medicine experts.
• Participate in teaching opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Work approximately 7.5 shifts per month, with flexibility for part-time options.
• Supports and collaborates with a Level-III NICU caring for newborns 23 weeks and above.
