• Schedule : 6 : 30a - 5 : 00p, Monday - Friday, 4, 10-hour Shifts
• Department :    Operating Room
• Location : Thomasville Medical Center –Thomasville, NC
• Description : The Surgical Technologist works under the supervision of a surgeon and registered nurse to ensure the safe and efficient execution of invasive surgical procedures. They are responsible for maintaining a sterile and safe operating room environment, ensuring proper functioning of surgical equipment, and supporting the surgical team to maximize patient safety throughout the procedure. Surgical Technologists apply their expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques, combined with knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and relevant tools and technologies, to assist physicians in performing therapeutic and diagnostic invasive procedures effectively.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or Military Training Equivalent (68D – Operating Room Specialist). For incumbents who are not graduates of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or have certification please see additional skills required. Online Surgical Tech program credits will not be accepted.
