1st Shift - $19.00 per hour
Position Summary : Collaborating with the team, creating an inclusive environment. Training and developing skills to enhance their and overall teams' effectiveness. Collaborating with team members training, monitoring, and developing the necessary skills to complete daily SLA goals. Reviewing and monitoring system reports to ensure goals are on target and clearly identified throughout the day. Calling out any opportunities for improvement throughout each day's production.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Essential Functions :
1. Collaborating with the supervisor and peers to set daily goals for the team.
2. Reviewing the system ahead of start of shift, preparing each day to meet the customers' SLA expectations.
3. Conducting training sessions as needed to develop the pick and pack team members skill sets.
4. Monitoring workflow balance, able to identify and move team members to critical areas throughout the day based on volume flow and direct function needs.
5. Implement and / or maintain procedures and protocols using the best industry's practice guidelines.
6. Cross train through all of Luxury's area's ensuring a clear understanding of what is required and expected to meet the goals and objectives.
7. Understand all processes of the fulfillment functions then able to make on the spot decisions and or adjustments that affect productivity.
8. Able to clearly identify and communicate verbally and by email : plans, actions, and results.
Marginal Functions :
1. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
2. Provides backup support to all other Luxury function areas as needed.
3. Participate in meetings regarding customer layout, process flow, etc. as needed.
4. Operate material handling equipment as required to complete job functions.
Job Specifications :
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Prefer 1-3 years prior experience in a management position in a high-volume distribution environment.
3. Understanding of warehouse operations and warehouse management system technology.
4. Ability to work efficiently with a professional, customer friendly attitude.
5. Able to follow specific instructions thoroughly and accurately and provide instructions to other associates as needed.
6. Ability to understand, follow, and enforce company policies and procedures.
7. Prefer prior experience operating a lift truck and cherry picker.
8. Ability to reach, bend, climb and lift to 50lbs safely as needed.
9. Good hand / eye coordination and motor skills
10. Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed due to customer demand.
11. Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Office
