CNA / Med Tech Position

Job Location : Rice Estate - Columbia, SC

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the CNA / Med Tech provides direct care to residents, assisting with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and other daily needs while maintaining a safe, clean, and pleasant environment. The role also involves documenting care, observing changes in residents' conditions, and supporting overall facility operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct Resident Care (35%)

Assist residents with hygiene, including bathing, grooming, peri-care, nail care, and oral care.

Administer medications as directed and in accordance with prescribed schedules and protocols.

Monitor residents' physical and mental conditions, reporting changes promptly to the Lead Resident Assistant or Director of Nursing (DON).

Maintain a clean and orderly resident environment, including tidying rooms, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing utensils.

Assist with meeting residents' recreational, spiritual, and social needs, including transportation to activities and religious services.

Follow HIPAA privacy regulations to maintain confidentiality for residents and staff.
